18th Bristol Scouts

Volunteering together.

18th Bristol, like most Scouts groups, is run by a team of volunteers. Some of us have kids who are currently part of the group, some of us are helping out even though our children have left, and some of us just want to support the group.

Some people fully ‘buy in’ to the world of scouting and become leaders, or get involved at district level. Others choose to help out regularly but in less formal ways.

All of us are volunteering together to ensure our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts have a great (and safe) experience.

Your support will make a difference.

Whether you can support our weekly session, or help out behind the scenes, we can always use more volunteers.

Maybe you’re a whizz at languages, or you’ve got an interesting job/hobby that you could come to tell the group about? Or maybe you would be prepared to see one of our groups through the achievement of a badge if it fits with your interests or skill sets? Or perhaps you’d be happy to help out occasionally?

Whatever you can do, volunteering will improve your wellbeing, equip you with skills for the future, and help make a positive impact on the lives of young people.
